New crew members

A few new Game of Thrones crew members have emerged.

According to this blog post, it seems Bryan Cogman will be writing the fourth episode of Thrones season one. Cogman is, I’m assuming, Benioff’s assistant. His own Twitter page also lists him as a script coordinator.

In addition, Greg Spence has listed himself as an associate producer on Game of Thrones on his LinkedIn page. Also, Jeremy Woodhead handled hair and make-up duties while Rohan Harris provided scene and prop art for the pilot.

Lastly, according to Westeros, it seems the production company that was created to handle the pilot was named Fire and Blood Productions. Westeros also reports that the cameras used for the pilot were the ARRICAM Lite and the ARRIFLEX 235, both shooting on 35mm film.

HBO's ninjas at it again, I see. Luckily Google still has the cached version of the page up. Here is the relevant info:

"Game of Thrones, the new fantasy series based on the novels by George R.R. Martin, has been greenlit by HBO, and my writing partner and Juilliard classmate Bryan Cogman, has been greenlit with it!

He is the showrunners’ assistant and is the writer of the fourth episode, therefore I dub him: The Green Lantern."

From what I gather, they are a local production team providing services for this project (as a NI partner), and the company is there to stay after this is all done. That is, not a tailor-made legal entity to take care of the GOT series/pilot only as Fire and Blood Prod. looks like to be.

Rabbit on it again! She's everywhere!

It's fantastic so many of GoT's actors and actresses still have such a great love of theatre and are able to stay active within it. Keeps their chops sharpened, so to speak.

So long as their stage schedules don't conflict with Game of Thrones shooting schedules, we're good. I imagine HBO has those sorts of details locked down and tight.
