Long time lurker, first time poster.

Looks like mostly positive reviews thus far. Good news that.

It fills my heart with joy, reading all the comments of non-book-readers liking the show and saying they’re hooked.

Now I’m really interested in the viewing numbers, hope they get released soon.

    Alexander Dubrovsky,

Yeah. I loved it. James Hibberd’s review is deliciously irreverent without being disrespectful. He basically roasts the first episode while providing a detailed summary. It’s a gift to us fans, and I can’t wait to read his reviews every week.

Rickon Stark. He’s just six, and is sort of the Maggie Simpson of the Starks.

This is review reminds me of Rifftrax – not the brutal kind where they eviscerate bad movies (Eragon, The Happening and the best of them – Twilight) but the more joking kind, like they do for really good movies (Star Trek, Indiana Jones and such).

That’s around 2.6 million viewers for the first airing. Let’s hope the total will be bigger…

note: the reviewer got a couple facts wrong but i think most of the comments set it straight so no need to spam him with the facts ;)
