Damryn of Dorne,
So that would be 7PM here in the UK?
If so, it’s a shame this is before we see the finale. But ah well, so long as we can still access this later on, I look forward to it. =]

Think I’m going to check out Falling Skies when GoT finishes airing but I’m definitely going to read this later on.

Looking forward to this. There were many concerns from critics about the portrayal of female characters in ASOIAF. As a devoted fangirl I am curious to see reactions to the character arc for Daenerys in particular. It can be argued that there is no literary moment in our era that can eclipse her finale in GOT.
Pure sweet pwnage….

danke schoen! merci! and thank you for aiding and abetting my laziness!

They really shouldn’t be allowing comments from anybody, this is going to be hard to actually read / keep up with.

It was kind of a cluster..I hope its cleaned up..and some of the good Q&A is reposted.

That was a great experience. Thanks for publicizing it to us, Winter.
It was difficult to follow because the comments were so fast-paced, but it’s really nice they allowed us to communicate with them. The support for ASOIAF fans has been fantastic from the outset.
I saw some of you guys there! I chose to post under my real name (Kate), although in retrospect that probably wasn’t too smart considering Kate Arthur was co-hosting. :/
Looking forward to the transcript so I can get to read everything I missed!

I agree with someone on the chat, would have preferred the chat be just between the critics, along with westros.org and winter is coming. Maybe have people send in their questions ahead of time to be included in the critics chat.
yagkoshaQuote Reply
But then we lose the valuable ability to send questions that develop organically from the topics of conversation. It was hard to follow, but it was awesome to be able to ask Mo Ryan a question (even if she didn’t have time to answer it ;) )!
Maybe they could do two panes – one for the commentators and one for guests. Or utilize a “hidden question” system, sort of like what Kate Arthur was using at first with the comments. That way, people could ask questions they think of based on the flow of conversation, and the moderator could approve certain questions, but the chat wouldn’t get clogged.

How spoilery is this overall? I really want to read it, but I don’t ant to spoil season 2
Julia MathiasQuote Reply
You guys need to do a podcast..have a moderator..ask a question..then everyone on the panel chip in.
SuperdeluxeQuote Reply
Julia Mathias, kind of spoilery, considering all of us have read the books. We don’t spoil any major plot twists or anything, but we do discuss quite a bit the characters and moments we are looking forward to in season two. So if you want to stay completely unspoiled about what is in store for S2, it might be best to avoid this.
Winter Is ComingQuote Reply
Yeah I hung out in there for a bit, but far from being about season 1, it delved far too deep into season 2 stuff for me and I had to bail.
salukQuote Reply
Winter Is Coming, Thanks! I agree with Superdeluxe, a podcast would be really awesome. I have listened to some GoT podcasts but so far none are really doing it for me.
