After last week’s break to celebrate the 3 years of WiC.net with the exactly 1,000th post, the laughs are back. Found on Tumblr of Thrones (originally from Fantastique Collective). Could it be?

Lol! I could see that. Though they are doing season 2, now.
I was somewhat anticipating a few follow up pics to flesh out this theory, but it works.

you know … this has crossed my mind a couple of times. well, good thing we know who they are. now all we need to find out is where their kids go to school :D
[[ how creepy is that on scale of 1 to 10? 1 being nice old Maester Lewin and 10 being Ramsay Bolton]]

that is one awesome Tumblr. The Terry Goodkind-memes are hilarious.
KnurkQuote Reply
Off topic, but I had a random thought the other day.
If the words of every house are based on their sigil or history, and the Frey’s control an important bridge, does that mean their house words are “You shall not pass!”?
SunspearQuote Reply
Knurk,
The fact that there are Terry Goodkind memes is an alarm in and of itself. Agree or disagree?
I know I posted this in the “in production” thread (where it obviously should be posted, dumbass), but its just too perfect not to be re-posted:

the goat,
oh man, that one was awesome too (though from a different Tumblr).

My favorite theory, to date, is Jaime is Azor Ahai, and Bran is the Great Other.
Who knows if it’s true or not, but it is an interesting theory. There’s a thread on Westeros.org under the ADWD section titled “Jaime & Bran” that really goes into detail. I’ve read countless other theories, but that one is pretty convincing… even though most Stark/Jon Snow/Dany fans (i.e. pretty much everyone) won’t like it. I think the thread itself is about 15 pages long, so there’s a ton of research on there, but you have to skim over some of the posts. Check it out if you haven’t already. Again, not saying it’s true… just interesting.

Knurk,
Brotherfucker please,
did I even say it was from the same tumblr?
I…will…re-post…when…I…say…re-post.
And you will know I am Rh’llor, when I lay my vengeance upon thee!

sjwenings,
What theory? They were told by George how the series will end.
Guy IncognitoQuote Reply
Varamyr Fourskins,
I can honestly say that not “pretty much everyone” loves Jon and Dany. The Starks? Sure. But Jon Snow and Dany? No. I know of quite a few people who find them both pretty insufferable.
JasonQuote Reply
This would be AWESOME.

Jason,
Especially Dany after ADWD .

Varamyr Fourskins,
WTF!? Its a Saturday morning thread, but do you really have to act like a child?
This is not the thread you’re looking for.
the goatQuote Reply
Yeah, I reblogged it, I didn’t make it. FantastiqueCollective (http://fantastiquecollective.tumblr.com ) made it- check out their tumblr, they have lots of great stuff. :)
Steve The PirateQuote Reply
Perhaps. But I think everyone more or less expects them to end up together, and “win” the GoT. Whether that translates to “liking” their characters, I don’t know. But it seems to be a fairly common theory.
Varamyr FourskinsQuote Reply
Act like a child? What the hell are you talking about?
If you didn’t notice, the meme says “What if D&D made Game of Thrones just to become the only fans on Earth to know how ASOIAF ends?”
That’s what my comment was in reference to… how ASOIAF ends. And this would seemingly be the right thread for that, given the fact that the meme up there specifically mentions the story’s ending. It’s not some random Ned Stark or Jon Snow meme. It’s pretty specific.
And by the way, I used spoiler tags on my original post, so if it gets reposted without them, that’s not my fault.
Varamyr FourskinsQuote Reply
Lol, looks like the Goat is on drugs today.
KnurkQuote Reply
Granted, my screen name IS pretty childish…
Varamyr FourskinsQuote Reply
Knurk,
Winter is here, I’m always on drugs.
Varamyr Fourskins,
You can’t honestly be this stupid, can you?
This thread is about jokes, not theories. Like you said, there’s fifteen pages on Westeros on your topic. Go peddle your wares there.
This thread is for dancing:

Congrats for the 1000th post guys. You’re amazing :)
IDK. I DO read Terry Goodkind sometimes, when i feel masochist, because it’s so bad it’s amazing. Maybe those guys do the same (Although I also read the Inheritance Cycle so I can write posts about how bad it is, so maybe I’m not a good mean of comparison)
Anyway I’m definitively sure THAT is why D&D made the show. It’s the ultimate fan stategy – I think I want to become a professional screenwriter so I can do the same.
Well, Jon IS a fan favorite character, although there are many fans who dislike him a lot. He went up in popularity after Dance, and Dany (who wasn’t that popular to begin with) we down. Or you mean them as a shipping couple? As much as I like the character of Jon, I also like fictional messed up relationships in which characters suffer, so I’m kinda okay with it, as long as it not a sue-ish perfect lovestory.
Why did we started talking about this anyway?
Elena AmiciQuote Reply
axia777,
It would go with Jaime’s dream of having a glowing sword and being threatened by the darkness around him.
kgQuote Reply
Yikes. Take it easy. A little deviation from a thread is what keeps conversation going. Besides- it is related to discuss theories of the end of the book when the original post somehow relates to it.
ANyway…..interesting theory. I don’t buy it at face value, of course. But I am intrigued enough to go sniff out the current evidence. Cheers!
Also, D & D have said they don’t know EVERYTHING regarding the ending. They only know certain directions and such. Maybe what happens to some or most of the important guys- Dany, Jon, and the Starks or something. GRRM is very tight lipped, even with his editor. So if GRRM dies, he takes a lot of it with him. Bugger.
JoosteenQuote Reply
Don’t even THINK that. Don’t!!!
Anyway, we know they know how the series end and who jon’s mom is. Three people who know = 2 more people we can threat to find out what they know ._.
okay, i opened that link and i saw this:

We’re all just mad they thought of it first. Of course, there’s the whole being incredibly talented/working in film thing they have going for them, but whatever. I’m going to ignore that in favor of being SUPER JEALOUS, AH GOD WHY DIDN’T I MAKE MY MOVE?? ;)

Totally OT:
So I’m flipping quickly through the ads in my local Sunday paper this morning. Target advertises the Amazon Kindle for $79 with quite a large picture in the ad. I’m not interested, but the book they show on the Kindle immediately catches my eye. The first word I saw was “Tyrion”. Now how often do you see that name in daily life?! Sure enough, a page from ‘Dance’ is shown on the Kindle!
KEWL!

Alright! Alright! I give in to your demands! I agree to settle this pointless Blu-Ray/DVD debate using awesome rare Radiohead vids as examples!
Just please stop undressing me with your eyes for no reason! Its freezing, even in your imagination!
So first we have “Killer Cars,” an acoustic VHS recording from Japan in 1994.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eWH7fBEfbew
“Wrap me up in the back of a trunk
Packed with foam and blind drunk
They won’t ever take me alive
’cause they all drive…killer cars”
Notice how the video quality makes his hair look even more terrible. And there’s an obvious hiss on the audio.
You can barely hear the awesomeness. No, wait, you can still hear it. Regardless, VHS sucks.
Next we have another videotape. 1997, Bill Graham Civic in San Fran (my 1st show, woot!) Here is “Banana Co:”
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WhwwCUtqBbY
“Oh, Banana Co, we really love you,
and we need you,
& oh, Banana Co,
we’d really love to believe you,
but, everything’s burning down…”
Marked improvement in video, but the audio is still insufferable. This is when I first realized Jonny was a motherfucking genius, and videotape just ain’t loud enough. VHS still sucks.
Yay, digital! Next is a handheld cam from 2001 (again Japan). Thom’s solo acoustic masterpiece “True Love Waits:”
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tKGHVpV7V3k
“I’ll drown my beliefs,
to have your babies.
I’ll dress like your niece,
and wash your swollen feet.
Just, don’t leave…don’t leave…”
So digital is obviously > VHS. More pixels = more fun. Especially with a handheld, finally the masses get a chance to be a director.
Next time, the final battle, DVD vs Blu-Ray!
