There was a lot of episodic content to accompany the first season and keep us entertained, such as Thronecast on SkyAtlantic, or the world-famous Larry Williams reviews. A Game of Thrones parody series by Foolhardy Originals (or SeanzOz, if you want me to name the man responsible) was another one, and has recently been completed by a two-part treatment of episode 10 (well, the skipped episodes 3 and 4 are coming soon to round off the first season). Enjoy the latest two videos below.

I’m happy for you as well, B-Cog! ;)

I’m glad they’re doing 3&4 too, if only to put off the long stretch between now and the second season without a parody.
B Cogman, are you going to send them creative notes to help their process along? :p

Love Mario’s cameo…and his slow realization that Dany hatched his eggs.
Also Jon and Mormont’s chat.
Good stuff. I need to go back and watch the other episode parodies. These guys are good.

This needs to be on a t-shirt.

Much as I think those parodies are brilliant, I have to add one criticism- how could anyone forget to mention Stannis’ particular brilliance at pincer movements?

I was actually hoping to find the vampire kid from Twilight among the pile of bodies in the end. I mean I think HP is more badass than him. Of course this judgement is based on about 10 mins of Twilight and one HP film but it’s still true imo. Still I do kinda like the image of HP waving his magic wand around as the white walkers snatched him. The look in his eyes when he realized that didn’t work. LOL

So am I the only one who finds these not funny at all?
DegausserQuote Reply
Lame Lame Lame. Even my 14 year old thought this was stupid. People out there think these guys are ” good ” and ” brilliant ” ??? The most immature and base ‘ humor ‘ , like Beavis and Butthead watching GoT ! WTF ?!?! You should be ashamed to put this on your site. An insult to the Song of Ice and Fire . Not funny, not good, not brilliant – just sad.
DiggityQuote Reply
I find them generally quite entertaining. I would never bother to see them were they not based on GOT, though. The humour just isn’t that good.

pretty funny. Be they haven’t topped parody episode 1×05. The two nameless Stark guards talking while the Ned-Jaime confrontation is going on, the breast plate stretcher, Jory getting stabbed in the eye, and the GRRM cameo.
That one slays me every time.

I think people take it too seriously, It’s just supposed to be something that makes you giggle, and it’s lighthearted. I’m sure we can all use a little more laughter in our lives.
Granted It’s not gold star comedy, but come on, It’s not THAT bad.
John-Michael LelievreQuote Reply
I thought both of these videos are very funny. They rehash jokes/observations from GoT fan boards and visualize them at a good pace but there’s nothing really as good as this out there put out on a regular basis. My favorite part in these is the plane dropping bombs on rainbows.

The following is a list of unpopular, but correct opinions:
These are not funny.
“Always support the bottom!” is not funny.
Joe Campo belongs nowhere near this show.

Have to agree there, Adrian.

I just wanted to stop by to thank everyone for checking out the videos and sharing your thoughts. I appreciate every comment, good and bad, as there is usually much that can be learned from both even though the response to my videos has been mostly positive.
Comedy is a lot like music in that there are many different styles and that no particular one is loved by all. Though I do consistently try to improve every aspect that goes into making these videos I am aware that no matter how honed my skills become I will never please everyone.
To those who are enjoying the videos I appreciate your support wholeheartedly and to those who are not I wish you better luck elsewhere.
Much love,
SeanzOz

I wish people wouldn’t take things so seriously. I mean, even though I’m sure you’re a stand up comedian and a fantastic animation artist and could make much better videos than these… Com’on guys. Even if you don’t like something, you should at least have some respect for who made them and the effort they put in.
SeanzOz,
Thank you for taking the time to make these. I think they’re great, even if they aren’t laugh-out-loud funny all the time. Cheers. :)

I think the reason these parodies don’t appeal to me is because they’re just a string of jokes loosely tied together, and I don’t find the format particularly engaging and the jokes themselves seem rather juvenile to me. Of course people have different humor and different tastes, and ultimately it’s not a big deal. My brother watches these and thinks they’re hysterical.
The type of parodies I prefer have more cohesive element to them. They make fun of what they’re parodying, but they do so while they have a plot and story of their own that’s also entertaining in its own right. I’d point to the movie Galaxy Quest as an example of a parody that I found enjoyable, although I’m sure that type of movie isn’t everyone’s cup of tea.
So to conclude: different people have different tastes. I’m glad others are enjoying this particular brand of parody even if I’m not. :)

I’d like to see YOU make a parody with the media used that would be more brilliant than the ones seanzoz does. Take it as a challenge and post a link in here – I’m gonna watch it. Promise.

I think they are pretty funny but really, can’t Renly get mentioned just once without a gay reference? It’s like college humor until Renly comes up, then suddenly drops back into seventh grade.
Loved the racehorse bit in Part I of Episode 10.

As to commenters who are saying what should and should’t be on this website: seriously?

It’s all about the Larry Williams reviews. That boy is hilarious.
I need HBO to get all the way to the RW. I think that reaction video will put “They killed Ned!!” to shame. He may actually quit after that.

Sole,
Geez, why even post? I’m not in the “if you can’t say anything nice, don’t say anything at all” camp. Share with people why you didn’t like it, criticism can be a good thing. It can help the artist improve their work. Look at your post, now back to Starkgirl’s, now back to your post, now back to Starkgirl’s. Sadly, it isn’t Starkgirl’s, but if you stopped trolling and hating and started posting about something that makes sense, it could look like it’s Starkgirl’s (shamelessly stolen from elsewhere).
Now, I don’t agree with Starkgirl — but at least she made an effort and I see where she’s coming from.
Keep it up, SeanzOz. I love them.
GmorkQuote Reply
How can anyone expect to have an open or honest discussion if a dissenting opinion is simply shouted down, or disregarded outright, or just said to be “trolling?”
I didn’t say these things don’t belong on the site. Some people get a kick out of them, whatever. I just don’t. The one thing I will say is that there is NO room for compromise in the Joe Campo issue. Guy belongs nowhere near this show and some people want him as Mance goddamn Rayder. The SOLE reason? He REALLY wants to do it. Well I REALLY want to play Ramsay, so everyone campaign for me. Hell, I’d REALLY
love for certain characters to just be cast but it doesn’t even look like I’ll get that.

DoDaDamnDayne,
She hated more than I did … and that’s nearly impossible. Just not our brand of humor. It takes almost no thought to ‘parody’ something by throwing in a string of profanity . I can hear the pitch meeting now – ” yeah, yeah, what if Tyrion called his sister a bitch! yeah , yeah, that would be some funny shit ! ” Come on, if your’e going to take the time to produce something like this, don’t insult the audience with adolescent potty humor. Just bad.
