Hahah, I’ve been doing the same thing all week! I keep getting mixed up between Mad Men and GoT, and which weekend I’m supposed to be excited for which. That was good. :)

Those people seemed offended by her showing up to their party like that… How offensive that she messed up the day and didn’t remember the party that was going on that day. It was probably some sort of celebration for someones accomplishment and she forgot about it which I find very offensive… And that’s not to mention showing a woman in the kitchen… this skit was so offensive

    Kanga,

    Be excited for both!
Draper and dragons sounds good to me! XD

Come to think of it there are some similarities between the two….

Ser Don Draper could easily be called The Hound….
    Speaking of bastards….
Peggy Olson just wants what is rightfully hers much like Dany….
The fair skinned blonde Betty Francis is crazy like a Targaryen…
A precocious young girl wishing people dead.. Arya Stark or Sally Draper?
The feminie wiles of a redhead has cast a spell on Stanni.. .erm I mean Sterling….

Yes indeed, I say be excited for both!

Now THIS was funny. I finally got caught up with Mad Men and am excited for the season 5 premier…but definitely not as a excited as I am for Game of Thrones. Betty Draper is the worst.

D’aaaw that video was cute! Thanks for the idea, I might actually end up doing this. Though I’d trade the silver wig for a red one and the cakes for a glass of wine.

    Sword-O-Da-Mornin’,

I see what you did there. :)

LOL that was good. Seeing this is actually making me think of saving Tuesday’s double bill of Mad Men and combining it with G.O.T next week.

I, being a dark haired man, was extremely offended by the use of a blonde wig…isn’t her dark hair good enough???

Is it still offensive if they are dressed up as fictional advertising executives? No wait… pretend I never asked.

Very good! Loved it, especially the ending.
Sunday is coming but I will have to wait around 2 more weeks to see the 2 first episodes together… ah well… guess I will have to avoid reading the posts here during those two weeks of waiting

Off-topic – the print edition of EW with the Desperate Housewives cover has a Game Of Thrones season 2 pull-out poster in it. It shows Robb, Dany, Jaime, Cersei, Tyrion and Jon.

That was pretty funny. Would’ve been better though if they cut right after the Betty Draper line and “It’s next Sunday.” rather than tag on her exiting the party, etc.
