So I just saw this video – it’s a trailer for the movie Knights of Badassdom set to scenes from GoT. Overall it’s pretty funny, but the ‘Lightening bolt! Lightening bolt!’ at the end just cracked me up.

The special features on disc 1 are simply amazing.
-A profile of each major character from the different Houses
-A brief history of Westeros and Valyria
-A discussion on the two main religions in Westeros
-A profile of the “Mad King” and a history of the rebellion from different points of view
All done in motion comic style and narrated by several of the characters from the show: Robert, Bran, Tywin, etc. Whoever put it together did an outstanding job.

I saw a quick glimpse of a scene from season 2 late at night on HBO yesterday. It wasn’t a trailer for Game of Thrones though, it looked to be a commercial advertising HBO social media websites. I turned it on at the last second and saw Dany saying something to Rakharo in Dothraki and him responding back in Dothraki but the scene had no subtitles and then it showed Twitter.com/HBO, Facebook.com/Gameofthrones and Youtube.com/HBO. I thought Rakharo wasn’t going to be in season 2 so maybe he dies in the season premiere but it was definitely a scene from season 2 and I only caught about 2 seconds of it and I don’t know how much more of the scene they showed before I turned it on or if the ad was just a bunch of clips from different HBO shows or was specifically for Game of Thrones.

Speculation was that he’s sent off as one of the three riders to find a way out of the Red Waste but does not return, this would still have allowed him to possibly return for Season 3.

I know what you mean, those early scenes of the Starks in Winterfell really work to create a bond with the family. Alas, even if the Lannister incest had never happened, the poor Starks would probably be all killed by the White Walkers when winter does come. At least the way it has turned out ,maybe, just maybe, some of the Starks may have a chance of making it through…………..Team Stark for the win!

Yeah, when I first Conan was leaving GoT and would appear on Spartacus this year, I supposed he might have been offered a regular part. But now I have my doubts… In fact, I really can’t see how he would be able to face those guys again.
Also heard he’ll be in The Hobbit, but I haven’t really been following the Hobbit news too cloely, that could be BS.
