Have you missed the great experience that was the TitanCon coach tour last September? Well, you better make sure to make amends this year. The intrepid TitanCon organisers put together a Sunday treat for all us Game of Thrones fans again, and have just announced the details of it. The tour on 22 September 2012 will take you to the World Heritage site of The Giant’s Causeway, the harbour at Ballintoy (where the scenes at the harbour of Pyke were filmed), the Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge (and the nearby car park, also known as Renly’s camp; beware of storm winds – oh, and of shadow babies), and Shane’s Castle (where the Hand’s tournament in S1 was filmed). Lots of other goings-on as well, from archery and medieval combat to a hog roast, none of which you would want to miss, believe me. Click the link and read all the details about the locations, activities, and guests.
The tickets go on sale at 12.00 midday GMT on Saturday, 26 May 2012. There are three busses available this time around, but the tickets are expected to sell even faster. No wonder, we really had heaps of fun in 2011! So be quick about it.

Second!
Damnit must it be so bloody far! Any idea on who of the cast will be making appearances?

I’ll actually be in the area few days earlier (me and couple of friends are planning Ireland-Scotland-England trip in the second half of September). I’ll be sure to take some pictures if we’ll visit any of those places.

Kneeling Knight,
The website’s usually a good place to start.

The kerning on that logo is ATROCIOUS. Not that Tit Ancon wouldn’t be a cool convention, too. Wish I could go to either!

The kerning on my tit convention would be quite different.

Funny how that works. I live in Los Angeles, yet the only show on TV I actually like is filmed 5,500 miles away.

Qthulhu,
Unfortunately no one interesting. Syrio Forrel was cool, but as we all know is dead. And although a fan favourite, Hodor is not that intresting.

.. they’re actors?

Kneeling Knight,
The full guest line up will not be announced until early September. Its like a lucky dip of Game of Thrones guests. Because of the changeable nature of the filming schedules we just don’t know who will be around in Belfast on that weekend until a couple of weeks before hand and we are determined to avoid announcing guests who then cancel because they can’t attend.
We are in communication with almost everyone in the cast and because of the success of last year word has spread amongst the cast and crew and we expect to have many more guests this year than we did last. Exactly who they will be even we don’t know.
