    Pretty well written but this would’ve worked a lot better with American accents. We don’t even get political ads like that here in the UK, so the British accent is less effective.

    I don’t know. The Lord of Light sounds pretty Jesus-y to me. Plus, I think the idea of seven gods in one is a bit too close to paganism for Murkan sensibilities (consider the vast majority of Americans think Hinduism is a pagan religion). Then again, they’re not too fond of change, so you could be right.

    But I thought it was funny they turned Stannis into a sort of George Washington-Crossing-the-Delaware type figure for the HBO version of Blackwater. Stannis Crossing the Blackwater, I suppose.

    I see it more as the god of the Old Testament, an archaic Judaism but pretty Jesus sounds more fun.

    Have to love a magazine named after a turn of the century union activist who was so feared by the mining companies and the state governments that they controlled that she was physically escorted to state borders by state militia troops on several occasions. She was the Beric Dondarrion of her day.

    That is pretty cool. And it’s a testament to how iconic the GOT opening title sequence is. Angus Wall has to be really happy that his inspired design has become so imitated. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, after all.
