By Winter Is Coming on in Humor.

This week’s GoT Laughs features a new Funny or Die skit entitled The Olympic Ticket Scalper starring Patrick Stewart, Simon Pegg, Ryan Lochte and Maisie Williams as… Arry, basically.

We also have a pair of Game of Thrones comics for you from artist Azad Injejikian.

Maisie and Isaac are growing up so fast…wonder how they will explain that in the timeline of the show (like trying to insinuate a time lapse). I’m guessing they’ll just ignore it altogether.

I just watched Patrick Stewart as Macbeth last night, so seeing this was weird! He’s hilarious. It’s kind of surreal to see Maisie there beside him.

Maisie’s getting tall. She’s soon going to be taller than Sophie Turner.

Actually she is short, and hasn’t really grown. You’ve been tricked by camera angles. She’s over a head shorter than Patrick Stewart who is 5’10″. So 5’0″-5’1″. Sophie is 5’9″, and only a year older than Maisie.

Not exactly laught, but I think this definately deserves a heads up. It’s like 140 ASoIaF character caricatures and the guy drawing them is still going. :D

Patrick Stewart = The Kindly Man – Wow
Think of the scenes with Maisie. As good as, or better than, her scenes with Dance. Make it so, Number One.

    I’d second that.

Link for the hodor comic seems to be broken. The Robb one is really good :D

I agree with you and Andrea, these are a win. Most of the characters are easily
    identifiable.

    WildSeed,

I did, but still unable to watch it. IT refuses to allow me to pause which in turns stops it from buffering which makes it go in fits and starts which is really annoying.

    LionOfLannister,

I don’t think it matters. After ACOK there isn’t any plot point that revolves around how old they are.

Great stuff though admittedly I have a really hard time understanding British accents. But Maisie is great as always. At least Ryan Lochte didn’t pee in THAT pool!

I also just found a funny video talking a little about the video game Game of Thrones, as well as a little intentional mangling of Game of Thrones lore.

Hey that skit is filmed outside the East End Thrift Store just off Whitechapel road where I lived last year. I shop there quite a bit, I’d think I was tripping balls if I saw Maisie and Patrick Stewart outside.

Historic ! I wonder what you’d done if you still lived there perhaps yell out the
window that they were making a ruckus or blocking passage to the store :D

    Dusky Man,

True, I did not LOL or slap my knee yet that was Patrick Stewart and Maisie Williams
just outside a local haunt! These are 2 accomplished actors I’d like to witness performing
a skit close up. I must admit that I am not one to be so affected by celebrity because
they are just people after all, but I’d see this performance as memorable because I’m
not likely to witness it again.

I like the slang terms he defines, capping them with “that’s called a ‘murdering someone.’”

Just hilarious, and three actors I adore to boot.

  38. Prankster
    Posted August 13, 2012 at 4:34 pm | Permalink

“Murdering them”, “Star Wars” and the hilariously awkward appearance of Simon Pegg in speedos while he’s getting ready to compete were enough to validate the sketch for me.

PLEASE let this be a sign that they’ve cast PatStew as Mance Rayder. Oh my God. I would completely put aside my jihad to get Ian McShane for the role if that happened. Yeah, I know he’s a little old, but who cares, you KNOW that would be amazing casting.

  39. JonathanL
    Posted August 17, 2012 at 9:26 am | Permalink

I don’t see it, Prankster, due to the length of time he would be needed for the role. They really need someone who can commit for quite a while.
