It’s actually the Spanish for “thrush” or “candidiasis” (while urban dictionary might define it as a nasty Dominican colloquialism, urban dictionary has a lot of foul definitions of things). But it’s something Indiana Jones says, but he actually says “Adios Satipo”. So Rygar wasn’t really being frightfully nasty, he was misspelling Indiana Jones.

Trolls are bullies. They go on Facebook and tell girls they don’t like to kill themselves or say nasty comments on memorial boards or just antagonize for no reason. Troll and bully are one and the same. There are different extremes of course. And yes you should take offense, it means your not a nice person. Why? There’s alwaya some particular reason. No one should be a troll or a bully. Why can’t we have a site with a friendly discourse? Sure we can argue aggressively or passive-aggressively but why taunt and provoke?
If you are not a troll I am sorry for accusing you of being one and if you are well that means I”ll be on the defensive.
And I’m sorry but pretending to be someone else just to troll another person is beyond message board trolling, it’s personal harrassment and I reported it. What the mods decide to do is up to them.

That movie was fantastic, and I remember the controversy regarding what
Indiana Jones quoted from one scene. I have the movie/ DVD , btw, and
he actually said ” adios stupido “. My nephew, who lives in the Dominican
Republic, said that there was some controversy brewing because of a
mis-dubbing which said ” s***to”, a word that means more than what
you’d mentioned. I would not be surprised if it’s been reappropriated
to mean something different. It’s just that moments earlier, Rygar
made reference to his genitalia, so I considered his remarks consistent,
and thinly veiled vulgar humor.
Like most youth just discovering past film hits like ” Indiana Jones” and
” Star Wars “, I sent him those because of the resurgence themes or prequels,
it was he whom brought the controversy to my attention. Even though I had
no knowledge of this, a couple of relatives held me responsible. In short, I
was quite shocked to see that word come up again ):

Oh…… this is interesting, thanks for that. I’d forgotten about Indiana’s
guide, but I see his name is different from Rygar’s spelling. Wikipedia
and the movie site lists the name as Satipo. At any rate, maybe he just
misunderstood that. No one would willingly use the previous term except
at a physician’s office or vulgar use among low lives. At least the “N”
word isn’t being thrown around.

Harrison Ford misspoke the name in his dialogue. He says “Adios Sah Pee Toe”. My spelling was phonetically correct based on the scene and the context in which I used it previously. It’s as if to say, “Thanks for the Idol, sorry you just got speared in the head, but that’s what you get for screwing me over”.
