- GRRM was waiting for the March decision with the rest of us.
- Rumours were swirling back then, as expected, the buzz and preparation indicating an imminent pick up, though we – sceptically – gave room to some negative BS as well.
- One of the major promotors of the show among the actors, Harry Lloyd (Viserys) remained positive throughout, and Esme Bianco (Ros) appeared to have learned something midway through the month.
- We discussed the potential Game of Thrones had to become a big hit. Our wishes have come true since, which makes it a sweet thing to revisit these old threads.

The nice thing about claiming to be an insider and then giving only the very vaguest and non-specific of information is that nobody can refute you, even after the fact. Our brains are wired to think “well if I can’t prove it is false it must be true!,” and then you innately trust the source of info. It’s just human biology… the same biological predisposition that gives rise to strong belief in ghosts, Bigfoot, silly internet rumors, and other minor and major beliefs within our society.
