This is for all my Canadian brethren , HBO Canada wil run a marathon broadcast of the entire Season Three of GoT between December 23 and 27. Two episodes per day, two hours of “Game Of Thrones” goodness every day! Good way to fight the winter blues and get a temporary fix until Season Four premieres, or at least until Season Three is released on DVD/Blu-Ray… Not sure about HBO States side but I would guess they must have a similar schedule. Below is a link to HBO Canada and the airtimes for the episodes:

Ah, the chapter where Theon can’t do anything right. Well, one of several chapters you could say that about, but this one stands out among them.

I’m intrigued by the fact that, despite reading a particular section aloud during the episode, you didn’t take away from it what I did. All those Ironborn dying mysteriously? They’re the same ones who were with Theon when the miller’s boys were killed. Therefore they know that the real Bran and Rickon got away. Theon thinks to himself that Ironborn can’t keep secrets, and they had to die. So… did he do it himself, or did he have someone else (like Reek) do it?

I agree that not having the boys’ supposed deaths as part of Catelyn’s and Robb’s storyline at this point takes a lot away from their motivation, and was one of the big mistakes the show has made when departing from the books. As for Robb thinking they could be alive – that’s not really about any faith he may have had in Theon. The show had all the Winterfell ravens killed off, so the news of Bran and Rickon “dying” never reached the south. All they knew was that there had been no word of them in a very long time.

Just a quick point about the millers wife, Theon did not bed her after the millers boys were killed, he tumbled with her way back, in fact I think she was his first.

Sorry to go off topic and back to a subject from the last GOO, but this is worth a look if anyone still cares about the pizza metaphors. I can’t do textures very well so don’t expect something of the same quality as the real thing. As with reality, book 3′s my favourite (or at least the 2nd half of it is)

Theon should have bedded the pizzas, think of the trouble he could have saved with stuffed crust. I was surprised this wasn’t the Theon lovefest Theon chapters usually are. Is Eric feeling ok? I worry about him when he talks poorly of Theon.

Asha owns her little brother. She loves him and is amused by his ineptitude all the same time. Asha is the “warrior princess” of the Iron Islands, and that is all.
