Kit Harington talks Game of Thrones Season 4, Jon Snow, and more
By Lightbringer on in Interview.

These past few weeks have seen Kit Harington hard at work on the promotional tour for his new film Pompeii. But with the new season approaching, talk often turned to Game of Thrones, and Jon Snow. Here is a compilation of new interview with a few Season 4 teases, talk of Iceland, and more.

Kit visited Mario Lopez on the set of Extra, and at the 1:35 mark he teases an action packed Season 4 and what’s in store for lovelorn Jon Snow. Kit also reacts to the recent news that President Obama is a huge Game of Thrones fan.

And in his sit down interview with Extra he reveals what he would like to see happen to Jon Snow at the end of Game of Thrones at the 1:29 mark.

Kit stopped by Fox 5 to chat Game of Thrones with the anchors and also sit down for a one on one interview for Fox Beat. Kit reveals his childhood ambition of becoming Jon Snow the journalist, and that he didn’t know his real name until he was 11. When Kit first read the script for Game of Thrones he knew it was something special, but after the fan reaction to Season 1 he knew it had become a phenomenon.

Kevin McCarthy Movie Reviews

In Kit’s interview for Fox Beat his Pompeii co-star Keifer Sutherland asks an embarassed Kit what his favourite thing about Iceland is. Kit also discusses the similarities between Jon Snow and his Pompeii character, Milo, and how he separated the two.

Kit also stopped by the Queen Latifah Show and revealed his most embarrassing moment on the Game of Thrones set:

And also speaks about his time in Iceland:

Kit spoke with ShowbizJunkies at a screening of Pompeii. At the 1:18 mark Kit compares the preparation and filming of Game of Thrones to Pompeii, and at the 3:15 mark he gives a Season 4 tease.

You’ve got to work yourself up the food chain.

Was your first job (assuming you have one) your dream job which pays $200+k/year? if not, why are you working at your shitty job? ;-)

Good answer Lars. After reading people’s opinions on Benedict Cumberbatch in the Mark Gatiss interview thread, I take any criticism posted on this site with a pinch of salt from now on. It is seriously getting out of hand. There’s also an interview which GRRM himself does with Kit at his cinema for the Game of Thrones marathons screenings. Haven’t seen it yet but it should be good.

The guy who discovered that cholera is waterborne is named John Snow. Different spelling, but still fun. There’s apparently a pub called the John Snow in London.

And the way he discovered it was by drawing up a Ghost Map…

    modor,

WOW, Peter Dinklage is perfect in all the S4 teaser scenes. Though I’m surprised how much they’re revealing about Tyrion’s storyline. His imprisonment (why am I even spoiler-tagging this?) won’t be a surprise anymore.

    It’s great fun–loved his prediction about a meet-up with Dany!! (35:56 mark)

    WTF is this? ^
Don’t know if it’s true or what but it says Dinklage would be finished with GOT in 2016.
I’m guessing that is when his contract is up but do they know something we don’t? Has HBO set an end date?

Once again Lightbringer with another post that has no value. Meanwhile, the s4 posters have been released. Hopefully Lightbringer posts 17 more interviews each with its own post with the same generic answers that the cast members have been giving since March 2011.

    Nick_Scryer,

His contract is up in 2016, but I doubt HBO would make a new one with him just to have him star in another show.

I’m pretty sure this article is blown out of proportion. We have no indication of an end date – Doelger said 7 seasons, not 6, the Ds have mentioned 80 – 90 hours – and there is no way they’d tell us when Tyrion leaves GoT.

    The actual quote is,

“The Beasts of Valhalla would shoot in 2016, after Dinklage has finished work on Game of Thrones.”

I think it’s implying when the season 6 wraps up, he will work on The Beast of Valhalla. If my memory serves me correct, he and others have signed up for 7 seasons.

I don’t expect the show to last more than 7 seasons.

No shan, Al! :gagging: I would only do it for you (or other GOT folk), Jon Snow. Yes, Pompeii had a horrid script, so much talent in this movie, just begging to come out, but the script is pure shan. As a side note, Kit’s sword play in said film is top notch, IMO.
