The FB recaps have long since lost their originality and humour. I’ve stopped reading them now, as the first two this series were woefully unfunny.

    Azzy Mahmood,

I’ve lost my taste for them, but I have friends who still love them. They may not do it for me anymore, but I know they’re still funny elsewhere. Maybe this is a side effect of not using Facebook anymore.

Hey, look what Lena posted on instagram: http://instagram.com/p/nEeNM0PA3L/#

It could be nothing, or a clue to a certain LS (spoiler tag doesn’t work for me)

    Balerion The Cat,

Probably a coincidence. But still, got my heart racing!

    Hear Me Roar,

I think I figured the comic out:

    - Daenerys is eating Rhubarb pie
    - Sansa loves to eat Lemon cakes
    - Rhubarb (R) , Lemon (L)
    - R + L = J confirmed.

    Hear Me Roar,

    I figured it out, it’s genius…
    1. Dany eating rhubarb pie (R)
    2. and what’s Sansa’s favorite food? Lemon cakes (L)
    3. So what does R and L equal?
    4. Comic confirms Jon is Rhaegar’s and Lyanna’s son.

    That’s not genius, that’s a bad joke.

    garbargle,

Exactly, that’s why I was being overly sarcastic..

    Summer,

Agreed; everyone needs a distinctive style and he certainly does, so it doesn’t matter if the jokes bomb. I liked the one for 306 though, and the season 4 recasts.

    Azad,

Why not use the premise of Stannis at home cooking dinner. I’m sure there’s something there…

    RadoLukacs,

Sweet, a 65 mins finale. Would have loved it to be longer considering how much shit will go down, but I can’t complain.

Very good! 65 minutes is great, right? The longest episode so far, I think.

    jentario,

Yes, indeed, the longest so far has been the Season 2 finale (Valar Morghulis) with 64 minutes.

OK, people who don’t get the comic, I’ll try to explain it very simply:

Dany(‘s army) knocks on Meereen’s gates, pretending to be a new neighbor who brought delicious pie as a present. Hizdahr naively opens the gate hoping to get some pie, but doing so he inadvertantly lets the army in, who sack and occupy the city. He does get pie, though, amd to add insult to injury, Dany pretends that she thinks he’s only upset about not liking rhubarb pie.

I’ll be here all evening if someone still doesn’t understand it.

    (FWIW, I don’t think it’s funny.)

I see you got a new mic and improved the light a lot, nice ;)

Agree with your point of view about Margaery…not really a nice person.

Also agree about the infamous gate-rape.

I’m always impressed with Azad’s drawing skills. That’s the main reason I look forward to his comics. And every time, the comics are charming in their own way. I don’t find them funny, really, but…they’re enjoyable.

Woo! Facebook recaps are my favorite feature on the site during the season, along with the Twitter recaps.

And I want to take this relatively lighthearted and fun topic to go a bit off here and express my appreciation for what the new owners have done with the place. I was apprehensive when Phil announced the change in leadership but it seems he knew what he was doing. I haven’t seen an influx of unpleasant newcomers and trolls, the site redesign was minimalist (and they’ve taken some of the feedback and improved upon the original–welcome back, archives) and the new contributors are bringing solid discussion topics.

I just wanted to thank everybody for their work.
