The folks over at WIC Live have released another Game of Thrones cocktail idea in a new edition of Spirits of Westeros! Last time we learned how to make The Dragon Egg and the week before that we learned how to make a VodKahlessi. This time around, Jessica Kinney shows us how to whip up a drink that serves as a final ode to Oberyn Martell as she teaches you how to make an eye-popping Oberyn Martellini.

Here’s everything you need:

  • 3 oz Pear Vodka
  • 3 oz Tequila reposado
  • 2 muddled grapefruit wedges 2 muddled lime wedges Splash of blood orange juice Natural sugared rim

Muddle the lime and grapefruit wedges in a shaker. Add vodka, tequila, and ice. Shake and strain into a natural sugar rimmed martini glass. Splash the blood orange juice in last to see the gruesome finish to the drink! (Add juice before shaking to skip this step) Garnish with a lime or grapefruit slice.

Watch Jessica walk you through the steps on how to make your very own Oberyn Martellini after the jump!

Also, Jessica is currently in an acting competition over on Indi.com. She is currently in tenth place but is only a couple hundred votes behind. The power of the WIC community should be able to lift her up to the win. Support one of our own, and vote here. You can vote every day.

You can also make a lovely Oberyn appetizer!

Step 1: Get a large Ruby Red Grapefruit and 2 Black Olives.
Step 2: Peel the grapefruit and place the olives on top of it.
Step 3: Push your fingers through the olives. Don’t worry about getting a little messy here!
Step 3. Violently smash the remaining contents of the grapefruit and set it on the ground.

That’s it! Enjoy your Red Viper Appetizer, sure to impress your friends!

While this looks delicious, I’d have to put something spicy in any cocktail made in honour of anyone from Dorne. It would be a compulsion.

Daaw I’d love to have a drink with Oberyn, on a Dornish summer’s eve, drowning in whores and wine. But not that swill they serve in Kings Landing.

Vote #367 is in. Will go again 2moro. Good luck!!

    Grey Ghost: “Dornish summer’s eve”

Sounds spicy, but also fresh & clean.

    Stephanie Baker,

A bottle of Tabasco sauce should do the trick :)
The color is fitting as well

    Udi,

Too much vinegar in tabasco. I’d use muddled fresh pepper of some kind or just go for cayenne powder.

With havin so much content and articles do you ever run into any issues of plagorism or copyright violation? My
blog has a lot of completely unique content I’ve either written myself or outsourced but
it appears a lot of it is popping it up all over the internet without my agreement.
Do you know any ways to help stop content from being stolen? I’d truly appreciate it.
