Last week’s episode of Game of Thrones was the final episode of season four and it has left us not only with a void for the next year as we wait for more new material to come about, but it has also left us with a pretty concrete look at who the most powerful characters are on the show.

We didn’t see any of Petyr or Sansa this week, but it appears that some more powerful characters have emerged and taken a place on the power rankings following the season four finale.

Join host Jessica Kinney as she breaks down the top five most powerful characters in the show at this moment following the tenth episode of the season, entitled ‘The Children’. Is Jon Snow still the most powerful character on the show or has he been usurped by someone we hadn’t thought about in a while?

Depends on how you judge power, by strength, authority, armies, magic….

Bran is clearly a special Warg, I dont know how powerful he is in comparison of other Wargs. I think he will end up being one of if not the most powerful character in the books.

Jon Snow is powerful mainly b/c of his leadership ability, intelligence, and combat skill. He is also a Warg, but not nearly at the level of Bran or others.

Stannis is a very powerful, but he is led around by Melisandre of Asshai. I don’t see him being as physically/magically powerful as either Jon Snow or Bran, but in overall numbers he’s very powerful.

For season 4 over all, how is Littlefinger not ranked? Clear No#2, if not No#1.

It’s foolish to think that Stannis is responsible for all his actions when it is Melisandre whispering to this ear and steering him. Don’t forget the Boltons have powered up tremendously this season. Also Cersei has moved up and gained power in King’s Landing with the departure of Tywin. Baelish is a wildcard.

    Bloodraven #1 since he’s basically a god.

    nick,

bran is more powerful than any other warg because he can take control of hodor. Any other warg that would try that would end up going mad.
