  • Every time man, every time. I think “oh the guy talking has a deep voice it must be micah” and then micah talks and I’m like wait no that was zach…

My own goes to Chett for being the only character to survive a prologue or epilogue

  • Night’s Watch names:

    Micah – Velvety Smoove
    Eric – Tenacious E
Zach – Zed (at some point he would have to die so we can get the line, “Zed’s dead baby, Zed’s dead.”)
Kate – Well no women Crows but I guess if they made an exception they would call her No Date Kate on account they couldn’t date her. Or maybe Kate plus Eight if she brought eight Direwolves with her.

  • Micah – Mad Eye Micah
    Eric – The Stickler
    Zach – The Old Beer
    Kate – Laughing Storm

  • Why am I not surprised that the best Harry Potter film is Eric’s least favorite… ;)

    ——

Kate, your dog’s name is Frodo? Mine too – accompanied by his puppy who we named Sam. :D

  • As we give NW nicknames to our GOO hosts I’d like to give some Alliser Thorne worthy nicknames and make our hosts some highborn bastards, like Lord Snow, training under his watchful eye.

Zach – Lord Stone bc he was the rock we all leaned on when the Hound met his match………….
Micah – Lord Sand bc he wishes he was a Prince of Dorne
    Eric – Lord Pyke…….obviously

And since Kate couldn’t pull off her best Arry impression on her way to the Wall she gets the nickname of The Laughing Queen bc she CAN best Arya’s laugh at the Bloody Gate like Orson Lannister could a beetle with a rock!

  • Your graph has a mistake in that the chapter Mercy in WoW isn’t marked but the square next to it.

  • Mistake:
Your graph has a mistake in that the chapter Mercy in WoW isn’t marked but the square next to it.

Also, why are Bran’s chapters from ADWD not marked?

  • Woof…This is the worst podcast I’ve ever seen. I’d rather kiss a toilet seat than sit here and put up with this trash. All the hosts are moronic trout sniffers except Katie because she sounds hawt.

  • As we all know, Kevin is a fookin’ legend. A man’s man. A ladies man. A man about town. The Lucky Pierre in between Chett and Karl.

  • Zack Flower-tongue
    Bonehead Eric
    The Velvet Blanket
    The Laughing Breeze

Are you going back to the ON season schedule? a week without at least three GOO episodes is a dull affair.

  • Zac- Feel Sleeve
    Eric- Gentlemind
    Micah- Sheperd Thundervoice
    Kate- Halo Presence

Can’t wait to get into the details of the story because the show throws so much at the screen, it’s hard to really absorb what’s taking place when you’re bracing yourself for what’s coming around the corner. Reading the last two books has enriched the world as those who watch then read may know from following the podcast.

Going through each chapter will also allow Kate and Micah to really shine because they can recall the emotions of going through the book on their initial read through whereas, in the show, they are mostly trying to explain and hype upcoming events and whether it lived up to, or surpassed the book.

Breaking down each chapter will now allow them to dissect each moment and let it breathe to really get an understanding of how big of an impact it had or will have on the story as a whole. The excitement in Kate’s and Micah’s voices as they talked about the ending to the prologue is a perfect example for what’s in store for us as listeners. Then, we also have Zac and Eric reading first time and getting excited over moments the show hasn’t explored and how it will influence their thoughts about seasons 3 & 4 and how they feel about upcoming seasons.

This is why this is “The-On Season” and the perfect way to deal with the lack of new TV episodes for the rest of the year and I’m grateful this isn’t a TV show recap only podcast. Red Wedding, Purple Wedding, Battle for the Night’s Watch, Trial by Combat, Bran’s dreams, Jaime’s redemption, Jon’s growth, The Implosion of the Lannisters, Arya’s loss of innocence, Sansa’s rise, and the little moments that we haven’t seen. Bring it on.
