Warning: What follows will contain SPOILERS for Telltale Games Game of Thrones Episodic video game series. If you wish to remained Unsullied, then turn back now.

With Telltale Games ongoing Game of Thrones series coming to a close next week, the company has released some screenshots of the final episode. The story they tell seems quite foreboding. For its part, Telltale has released an official synopsis for the final episode—titled “The Ice Dragon”—and it seems as if all the loose threads from the previous episodes will finally be tied off.

"Your story is about to come to an epic conclusion. With House Whitehill tightening its grip on Ironrath at the behest of Ramsay Bolton, the remaining Forresters must give their all to save the family, whether through diplomacy, subterfuge, or violent force. In the frozen wilds beyond The Wall, Gared learns the secrets of the mysterious North Grove, and Mira discovers that political games in a King’s Landing controlled by Cersei Lannister often involve the highest stakes of all. What is the fate of House Forrester? When you play the Game of Thrones, you win or you die. Your choices, your story: you decide."

If you played through Episode 5, then you had to make a gut wrenching decision involving Forrester brothers Rodrik and Asher. In this screenshot, it would appear as if the player chose Rodrik.

Rodrik is riding beside Asher’s best friend from Essos, former fighting pit champion Beskha. Her reaction to Asher staying behind to save his brother in Episode Five’s finale was just as heart-wrenching as the brothers’ final words to each other: “Iron from ice, brother.” “Iron from Ice.” Hopefully, Rodrik and Beskha are leading House Forrester to battle against the hated Whitehills, who are featured in this next screenshot.

In Game of Thrones or A Song of Ice and Fire, I’ve rarely come across a character or group of characters I despise more than Ramsay Bolton…but Ludd Whitehill and his sons have done the trick. Of course, the fact that they are in league with Ramsay only serves to make them all the more despicable.

Next, we have Mira Forrester at King’s Landing. My fellow WiCnet writer Cam, really enjoys the political intrigue of Mira’s story. Looks like the eldest daugher of House Forrester is in a bit of a pickle.

Finally, we head to the far north. Gared Tuttle has been north of the Wall for two episodes now. He’s been chased by wildlings, harried by wights, and now it seems as if he may have found the long sought-after North Grove. Does Episode Six’s title have something to do with what lies there? Could an Ice Dragon actually exist, and if so, could it be used to help House Forrester defeat its enemies? We’ll have to wait another week to find out.

It also seems as if Gared will be getting into some trouble with a rather large bear. I wonder if this bear has anything to do with a warg by the name of Varamyr, or it’s just an angry bear wanting to take a bite out of poor Gared. The bear’s ear looks to be chewed off, and it’s pelt is rather bloody. Perhaps it’s a zombie bear.

Telltale Games will release ‘The Ice Dragon” as part of a full season disc (all six episodes) on November 17, the same day that the episode will be available to download on all platforms, including PS4, XBOX One, PS3, XBOX 360, PC, MAC, iOS, and Android. Make sure to check back with us next week, as we’ll give our opinions on the final chapter in the first season of Telltale’s series. In case you were wondering what the entire season on disc looks like, here’s a neat photo from Telltale.
