Happy Valentine’s Day, everybody! To show our love, we bring you biggest Game of Thrones-related stories from the past week. Welcome to WiC Weekly.

Let’s begin with the obvious. HBO released a whole bunch of photos from the new season. You go look at them.

After you’re done looking at them, you can vote on which ones you found most intriguing. The writers at WiC debated back and forth on the topic.

We still don’t have a Season 6 trailer, but we can do the next best thing: rank the trailers from the first five seasons of the show:

Hm. Trailers seem to be on the brain lately. HBO could stem the tide if it just put one out!

People enjoyed reading our character profile of Rhaegar Targaryen, the silent partner in many of Westeros’ biggest historical events.

Even this late in the game, details about Season 6 casting continue to surface. These roles would have been cast and shot months ago, of course, but we’re just learning the particulars now.

Conan O’Brien, always the scamp, got some digs in at George R.R. Martin following the news that The Winds of Winter wouldn’t be released before Game of Thrones Season 6.

Also on the Winds of Winter front, George R.R. Martin has promised not to pick up an honorary degree from Texas A&M University until he’s completed the book. It’s an encouraging sign that he’s getting down to business.

Is it too early to start talking about Game of Thrones Season 7? No. No it is not.

And lastly, it may not be a trailer, but we’ll be getting a look at Game of Thrones Season 6 tonight, right before HBO’s Vinyl debuts.
