HBO releases images from “Book of the Stranger” (UPDATE: 14 more)

It’s the middle of the week, and it’s time to look ahead to the next episode of Game of Thrones Season 6. HBO has released a bunch of glossy images from Sunday’s new episode, “Book of the Stranger.” Take a look.
Littlefinger will make his Season 6 debut in “Book of the Stranger.” He’s not the only character the show has yet to reintroduce. Where are Lancel and Bronn?
“Book of the Stranger” will take us back to the Iron Islands, where Theon and Yara reunite following her failed rescue attempt back in Season 4. Will it be a warm reunion. Based on the trailer, smart money’s on no.
Lady Olenna, Kevan Lannister, and the rest of the Small Council are still trying to work out what to do about the Sparrow crisis in King’s Landing. Based on the title of this episode, I expect the religious uprising to play a role.
Fully half of the six images in this batch focus on Essos. Here, Tyrion is backed up by some Unsullied soldiers.
Daenerys and High Priestess of the Dosh Khaleen hang out. Dany’s still looking kind of mutinous. Perhaps she knows that help is on the way…
…in the form of these two palookas. There’s something kind of comical about them peeking over the edge of a ledge like this. Let’s see what their rescue efforts bring.
HBO also posted a couple more official-looking photos on its official website. Sticking in Meereen, we have Tyrion and Varys reclining in the pyramid:

I notice that Gregor Clegane isn’t in this shot. Perhaps Cersei figured it wasn’t good form to threaten her way onto the Small Council, considering how well that worked out last time?
