Isaac Hempstead Wright throws shade at Bran, the Lannister siblings battle, and more

It was a busy week for the Game of Thrones cast members. Let’s start by checking in with Isaac Hempstead Wright, who plays Bran. It seems he’s as upset with his character as many fans are.

It sounds like Brandon Stark is going to take the death of his long time buddy fairly hard, as well he should, although we’re not sure when he’ll find time to mourn. Still, it’s nice to hear the actors echoing our own thoughts.

In other news, Kristofer Hivju (Tormund Giantsbane) is picking up the side jobs that only someone like Hivju could. Specifically, he’s starring in a medieval Norwegian thriller called The Last King, as a warrior named Torstein. Hivju looks like he simply walked across a studio lot still in his Tormund gear to film this historical action flick.

As Torstein, Hivju must protect the life of the last true king in the land, and he needs his skis to do it. (I didn’t even know they had skis back then, did they have ski resorts too?) Either way, Hivju continues to built his career as a leading man. Maybe that’ll impress Brienne.

Showing off their comedic chops, something rarely seen on Game of Thrones, stars Peter Dinklage and Lena Headey appeared on a new edition of Conan O’Brien’s long-running skit, Clueless Gamer.

Dismantling the Iron Throne before even getting started, the trio attempted to play a game called Overwatch. Hilarity ensues as the Lannister siblings blast one another to our heart’s content. Dinklage appears to have it in for Headey, perhaps in retribution for always trying to have him killed back in Westeros?

Lastly, Emilia Clarke is making the rounds, starting by promoting her forthcoming movie Me Before You on Live with Kelley, appearing here sans the trademark Targaryen white wig.

It’s good to hear that even Clarke’s parents can’t get spoilers out of her. Clarke also mentions being able to blend in a bit more in day-to-day life, as she looks very little like her Targaryen counterpart. Stick around until the end to hear Clarke do a perfect impression of a Calafornia valley girl. Trust us.

Clarke also popped up the Rock’s Instagram, of all places, posing with him and Kevin Hart. The pair was promoting their movie Central Intelligence at the same hotel as Clarke was doing a promotional junket for Me Before You.

The trio appear to be all smiles after peace was established in their junket war. Now that Clarke mentioned it, can we please get a comparison shot showing whether the Rock or Jason Mamoa has bigger arms?
