Funnies: Obama tries to name all the dead characters on Game of Thrones, and more

It’s no secret that President Obama is Game of Thrones’ fan-in-chief. But unlike us hardcore fans who actually remember what the hell is happening, Obama watches it like a true Unsullied Unspoiled show-watcher. He’s not really clear on the names of the characters all the time, and he’s not sure exactly what the heck happened in certain scenes. He is a busy guy. But *man* did you see that Sept explode?

Now, Obama, who is using his fandom knowledge to get out the vote for 2016.

Obama’s not the only person of note weighing in on the season, although he’s undoubtedly the biggest. Dan Harmon, creator of Community and Rick & Morty, had some complaints about the names on Game of Thrones, although fans soon set him straight.

Meanwhile, in season recaps and reviews, Ozzy Man weighs in on “The Winds of Winter.”

Jonathan Van Ness of Gay of Thrones also has their say—he and his guest are loving everything about Mad Queen Cersei.

Naturally, there were plenty of memes following “The Winds of Winter.” By the way, now that we’ve seen the season through, we have proof that Tyrion and Cersei are in fact full-blooded siblings.

Worried about the Brexit? Just wait until the Westerosi stock markets gets a raven about the newest drive to screw up the world as we know it: the Nexit from the Seven Kingdoms.

To be fair, the other kingdoms will probably be right behind them after they see what happened to King’s Landing. The North are totally trendsetters that way.

Meanwhile, in Sam’s world…

It’s heaven. Let’s hope Gilly gets used to dancing household items.

Some are wondering how Varys got from Dorne back to Meereen so quickly. There are some ideas out there.

The good Doctor, of course, is on the side of dragons.

Cersei’s pyromaniacal killing spree inspired quite a few memes.

I mean seriously, with only two half seasons to go, no one is going out and casting enough people to replace everyone in King’s Landing.

A couple of cast members had notable reactions to the episode, including Aisling Franciosi, the actress who played Lyanna Stark in the flashback at the Tower of Joy.

And finally, Carice van Houten (Melisandre) tweeted a behind-the-scenes pic from Season 5. It’s a little dated, but worth the wait.
