Ramsay and Osha are in a Netflix series together, and more celebrity fun

Remember when Ramsay Bolton shoved a knife in Osha’s neck in “Book of the Stranger?” Turns out it wasn’t the first time the two had acted onscreen together. According to Digital Spy,  Iwan Rheon (Ramsay Bolton) and Natalie Tena (Osha) starred in their own Netflix series last year, unbeknownst to almost everyone…and they play a functional couple!

The series is called Residue, and it’s described as a futuristic science fiction thriller. It was originally released as a feature-length movie and received a limited release in the UK, but was later cut into three 45-minute episodes for Netflix, where it debuted on March 31, 2015. Guess I know what I’ll be watching this weekend.

Over on Instagram, actor Finn Jones (Loras Tyrell) posted a Tyrell family photo in the wake of the slaughter in “The Winds of Winter.” Oh, right in the feels. This takes me back to better days, when Lady Olenna was verbally carving up Varys and Cersei, Margaery was pretending to care about the poor, Mace was singing ballads, and Loras was…well, the show really ruined Loras. Never mind.

Speaking of Instagram accounts, actor Norman Reedus is apparently an Arya Stark fan, as he got in on a selfie with Maisie Williams.

In all seriousness, Reedus is one of the nicest guys you’d ever want to meet, and always has time for his fans. Hey, maybe Arya can come over to The Walking Dead and kill Negan…no, then we’ll never know who he killed in the Season 6 cliffhanger. DAMN YOU, ROBERT KIRKMAN!

Continuing our Instagram theme: Jason Mamoa, formerly known as Khal Drogo,  keeps reacting to Daenerys’ scenes on Game of Thrones. Here he is giving a well informed opinion of Daario.

And here he is cheering Dany on from atop his stallion in the Night Lands…where apparently they have television and subscriptions to HBO. Also no maid service.

In non-Instagram news, John Bradley (Maester-in-training Samwell Tarly), has a new movie hitting iTunes. It’s called Traders, and it involves fights to the death, so there’s a bit of Westeros in there. Only in the movie, people fight to the death as a way to make money, not because justice demands it. Better? Worse? Watch the trailer and decide for yourself.

Looks interesting, yes?

Speaking of films, being incinerated in wildfire by a vindictive Queen Mother hasn’t stopped Jonathan Pryce (the High Sparrow) from landing a role as a curmudgeonly widower in a new movie, appropriately titled Dough. Pryce plays Nat Dayan, a baker who befriends his young Muslim staffer, Ayyash. After Ayyash accidentally drops his stash of marijuana into the mixing dough, Dayan’s bakery starts doing very well. Can’t imagine why.

Dough is set to hit theaters nationwide on July 2nd. Check out a clip:

Sounds like a fun film, especially if you’re looking to see something other than the usual rehashed Hollywood fare. **I’m looking at you, Independence Day 2.**
