Welcome to WiC Weekly, where we recap the biggest Game of Thrones-related stories from the past seven days.

This is the first WiC Weekly in nearly three months that hasn’t followed a new Game of Thrones episode. Let’s take a moment to swallow our sadness, and now let’s get to it.

First on the agenda: 10 questions Game of Thrones Season 7 needs to answer. It may not be coming for a while, but that doesn’t mean we can’t speculate wildly about it.

Next, we learned that, horror of horrors, Game of Thrones Season 7 will premiere a bit later than the seasons usually do. How much later? Read on.

Interesting tidbit: did you know that Sibel Kekilli, the actress who played Shae, was seen on the set of Game of Thrones Season 6? It’s true, but so far as we can tell, she never showed up onscreen this year. What gives?

Season 6 was a big year for death. Who’s most likely to go in Season 7? We make our best educated guesses.

Are you still in denial about Season 6 being over? Relive it through the dozens of side-splitting GIFs we’ve gathered.

We get busy with our off-season speculation with an article about whether Cersei Lannister, the new queen of the Seven Kingdoms, might marry Euron Greyjoy in Season 7.

John Bradley (Sam Tarly) gave an incredibly thorough interview where he touches on everything from what Sam plans to do with Heartsbane, what being at the Citadel means to the character, and what he thought of his limited screentime in Season 6. It’s a good read.

Elsewhere, actors Maisie Williams (Arya), Liam Cunnginham (Davos), and Lena Headey (Cersei) revealed how they’d like their characters to die on the show. Cheery.

Accomplished actor Brian Cox isn’t on Game of Thrones, but if things had gone a little differently, he would have been.

Finally, check out this gorgeous collection of photos from behind the scenes of Game of Thrones Season 6.

Until next time…
