Welcome to WiC Weekly, where we go over the most notable Game of Thrones-related stories from the week. First, the big news: the casting calls for Season 7 have leaked onto the internet! New characters ahoy!

The people behind much of the concept art for Game of Thrones Season 6 chose this past week to release it. Some of the art hints at things we didn’t get to see. All of it is striking.

Emilia Clarke discussed her hopes for the legacy Daenerys Targaryen will leave in a wide-ranging interview with The Wrap.

The Wrap was busy this past week. It interviewed several actors from the show because of their Emmy nominations, including Kit Harington and Lena Headey.

Sticking with the cast members, Sophie Turner basically announces the start of production on Game of Thrones Season 7. Here we go.

Speaking of Season 7, showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss give a detailed interview to Deadline. What is the nature of the Night King? What’s next for Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen? They don’t go into too much detail, obviously, but there are some good nuggets in there.

What would Game of Thrones look like if it was a Pixar movie? I don’t know if anyone asked that question, but Sony Pictures Animation artist Alexander Cho took it upon himself to answer it, and I am thankful.

In a video interview, with Diana Rigg had an interesting had an interesting take on Lady Olenna Tyrell, her character.
