Filming for Game of Thrones Season 7 continues in Spain, as Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime Lannister) shows us the sights. But all is not well in the world that stands in for Westeros.

But first, let’s get to that landscape shot Coster-Waldau posted yesterday, during a little bike trip he took during his off-hours.

That looks like the waterlogged Barrueco de Arriba where the crew is currently filming a major battle scene. If nothing else, filming this series is the experience of a lifetime for most of these actors, and they get to take in some nice scenery while they’re at it.

If Jaime Lannister is having a day off, you know that means his body man, Bronn (Jerome Flynn), is doing the same. Here he is snapping pictures with a fan in Cáceres, where the cast members are staying when not filming that big battle.

It’s good to have a day off.

There are also a couple more shots of that battle scene in action taken last week. Beware mild SPOILERS.

But, as noted above, although the extras are working their hearts out on the battlefield, all is not well in Westeros. According to El Periodico Extremadura, extra Pablo Serrano and 40 of his colleagues have filed a complaint against ModExpoR Internacional, the company that hires extras for Game of Thrones in Spain, for breach of contract, alleging unpaid overtime. They also complain about the difficult conditions the extras are made to endure their during 15-hour days on the job. For example, Serrano accuses the production of not giving the extras their contractually obligated amount of daily rest and meals.

Hopefully, whatever issues the extras have—and it must be super tough, what they’re going through to create this battle on screen—the show can get it worked out sooner rather than later.
