We may be sailing deep into the in-between doldrums as the world waits for the next season of Game of Thrones, but fortunately we do have current and former cast members stirring the pot.

For starters, actor James Cosmo—the late Jeor Mormont, 997th Lord Commander of the Night’s Watch—has inexplicably decided to join the cast of Celebrity Big Brother. The 68 year old Cosmo, who has also starred in much-lauded projects such as Trainspotting, Braveheart, Troy and Sons of Anarchy, seems to embrace the experience with a big bear hug:

"I wouldn’t say I’m scared about going into the house. One of the things that I’ll miss is listening to Eminem. I’m in here for an experience, I hope I’m going to enjoy it and that’s it. Game, set, match and nothing else."

Arguably, Cosmo hit a career high during his time on Game of Thrones, so your guess is as good as ours as to why he’s decided to join the 19th installment of CBB. His co-hosts will include Reality TV star Speidi, Jasmine Waltz and Ray J.

Good luck, Cosmo.

Next up, actor Iwan Rheon has moved on from playing the horrific Ramsay Bolton to play…Adolf Hitler. Rheon teams up with Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley from the Harry Potter movies) to costar in the satirical drama Adolf the Artist, about the dictator’s early life when he was an aspiring painter at the Vienna Academy of Fine Arts. Per Sky Arts, the movie “follows Adolf in the run-up to retaking the entrance exam, burdened by temper tantrums and an oddball dress sense, and desperately trying to improve as an artist and gain recognition.”

“I’m playing a young Hitler,” Rheon told The New York Times, “Oh, I’m typecast already!” Enjoy a clip:

Rheon is going to need a good therapist after this long voyage into double darkness.

On a brighter note, Jacob Anderson (Grey Worm) is going to direct a movie about the exhilarations and miseries of

soccer

football fans in the FA Cup, which is going on right now. Supporters are encouraged to tweet their game day experiences with the hashtag #cupstory before this weekend’s third round, and Anderson will turn some of them into a film to be released after the final game.

Anderson is jazzed about the project, as he tells The Sun: “I’m thrilled to be part of this unique adventure. The Emirates FA Cup means so much to so many people so I’m confident, that along with the help of all the football fans up and down the country, we should be able to produce something really spectacular.”

Finally: OMG you guys, Sophie Turner (Sansa) posted a pic of Joe Jonas on her Instagram—they’re officially dating.
