Welcome to WiC Weekly, where we go back over the most popular Game of Thrones-related stories from the past week. First, catch up on “No One,” the latest Game of Thrones episode, with our recaps. They come in versions both for those who have read George R.R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire books…

Sticking with “No One,” director Mark Mylod explained why the deaths of Brynden “the Blackfish” Tully and the Waif were left offscreen.

Most of the buzz this week revolved around “Battle of the Bastards,” the much-hyped ninth episode of Game of Thrones’ sixth season.

Who’s most likely to die in “Battle of the Bastards?” Here are our best guesses:

If you really want to know what’s going to happen in “Battle of the Bastards,” there are spoilers out there. But don’t click if you want to be surprised.

Also, here are the (very abbreviated) synopses for both “Battle of the Bastards” and “The Winds of Winter,” the Season 6 finale.

We’ve mostly been assuming that “Battle of the Bastards” would take place entirely in the North, but there are rumblings that we could be wrong. Read about them here:

And going beyond Season 6 entirely, there’s already talk of the show gearing up for Season 7.
