WiC Weekly: April 2-8

It’s time to break down the peaks and valleys of the past seven days…purely in terms of Game of Thrones news. The HBO marketing machine is up and running, and as we get closer to the season 7 premiere date (July 16), we can expect it to give us more goodies.

Let’s start with a big bit of press that came out on Friday: an HBO promo that included looks at several of the Game of Thrones cast members in the outfits they’ll be wearing in season 7.

The promo featured many cast members from season 7…and one other one.

In cameos, chart-topper Ed Sheeran revealed more about his role in Game of Thrones season 7.

And in main cast members, Pilou Asbæk talks about what the show’s newest villain will get up to this year.

In celebrities, worlds collided when Kit Harington (Jon Snow) ran into the star of another huge fantasy franchise.

Iain Glen ruminates on Jorah Mormont’s longevity and discusses how the character changed in the transition from book to screen.
