Videos: Go behind the scenes of “The Queen’s Justice” with the Game of Thrones cast and crew

On Sunday, the third episode of Game of Thrones season 7 — “The Queen’s Justice” — aired on HBO. At the end of the hour, the audience was treated to a series of videos going behind the scenes of some of the show’s most important scenes. If you didn’t see then, feast your eyes on them below.

Let’s start with showrunners David Benioff and Weiss hitting what are arguably the two of the most important threads of the episode: the meeting between Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen, and Cersei’s surprising endurance in this war. They round it out with a deep dive into Olenna Tyrell’s scene-stealing death scene.

Next, in a video that didn’t air on TV, Kit Harington and Emilia Clarke explore what their characters — Jon and Dany — make of each other. As usual, Clarke is charming as all get-out in her segments. “King in the What? No!”

Naturally, the pair of them don’t like each other when they meet. Many fans who’ve been watching them for years expected them to get along, but they haven’t been watching Game of Thrones like the rest of us. It may take a minute for Dany and Jon to come around to each other.

Finally, Lena Headey, Indira Varma, and Rosabell Laurenti Sellers discuss the three-way corker of a scene between Cersei Lannister, Ellaria Sand, and Tyene Sand. The watchword is revenge.

Is this the end of Ellaria Sand? We can’t be sure, but yes, of course it is. She has about as much chance of emerging from that dungeon as Septa Unella does of sitting the Iron Throne.
