Video: Watch the trailer for Game of Thrones: Conquest, a mobile game
The highly anticipated mobile app game, Game of Thrones: Conquest, is going to be released on iTunes and Google Play on October 19. The game is an MMO (Massively Multiplayer Online) strategy game developed by Turbine Studio, a part of Warner Bros. Entertainment. Check out a new teaser trailer and official description below:
"Winter is here. Build your house with the ultimate goal of navigating the dangerous political landscape of Westeros and claiming the Iron Throne."
Players will act as the head of a new House trying to take control of the Iron Throne. They can do that by forging alliances with other Houses and raising armies or by taking control of their own small councils to sabotage the enemy from within. Knowing Game of Thrones, it may be a little of both; It takes a village to bring down an empire.
Game of Thrones: Conquest is free to download and play, but like many off app games, it will offer in-game purchases. Those purchases include resources needed to build and fortify your House, gold, weapons, and speed-ups.
By pre-registering for Game of Thrones: Conquest, players will receive the Prepare for War bundle, which includes Night’s Watch training gear, gold and resources during the first week of launch. According to Variety, the package carries a $50 value.
This game looks like it could definitely help curb those Game of Thrones cravings. The only other Game of Thrones app game available right now is Game of Thrones: Ascent, which is more of a role-playing game than anything else, although it’s also worth your time if you have the patience to work through the complex storylines.
Again, Game of Thrones: Conquest will hit your app store on October 19, so get your pre-register in today!
