What happened in the world of Game of Thrones this week? Much and more. Let’s recap.

This week was marked by some pretty juicy SPOILERS from the set of season 8. It started with the return of a certain Red Woman…

…continued with Kit Harington (Jon Snow) being spotted near the set…

…went into overdrive after information broke about the first scene of season 8…

…and climaxed with information about the Night’s Watch, Peter Dinklage, and a familiar set returning for one more run round the track.

Yep, this was a good week for Game of Thrones spoilers, albeit not as extreme as what we were getting the filming of season 7, which is probably for the best.

Moving on, Game of Thrones fans may be looking for something to fill the time between now and season 8. We’re here to help:

In fact, everyone and their parent company seems to be taking cues from Game of Thrones nowadays. Amazon, for example:

Maisie Williams was all over the media this past week. She was out promoting her new movie Early Man, in which she voices a Bronze Age vendor named Goona. But of course, outlets did their best to drag information about Game of Thrones from her.

Williams was front and center this week, but she wasn’t the only cast member with something new to plug. Liam Cunningham (Davos) is out promoting his new Netflix show, Philip K. Dick’s Electric Dreams, and chatted about Game of Thrones while he was at it.
