Giveaway: Choose a high-priced Game of Thrones weapon, shield, or helmet

Every Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. CST, we stream a Game of Thrones chat show from our Facebook page: it’s Take the Black, where we break down the latest pieces of Game of Thrones news before taking a closer look at A Song of Ice and Fire, one chapter at a time.
Every now and then, we hold giveaways on the show. This is one of those times. On this Wednesday’s show, one person will win the chance to choose between one of five fantastic prizes. The choices include a collectible Hound’s Head helmet…
…a collectible steel Stark infantry shield…
…a Lannister collectible shield…
…and a replica of the Valyrian steel dagger Arya used to open Littlefinger’s throat.
All of these items are available at Fun.com, which so far as we can tell is the happiest place on the internet.
To get one of these beauties, here’s what you have to do:
- The new episode of WiC Live will start at 4:00 p.m. CST on this Wednesday, March 14. Head to our Facebook page to watch it live.
- Near the middle of the show, we’ll ask a trivia question about Game of Thrones and/or A Song of Ice and Fire. When you hear the question, email your answer to dan.selcke@winteriscoming.net. That’s me.
- The first person to email me a correct answer wins! I’ll then write you back with congratulations and ask for a full name, an address, and your pick for which prize your want. If you get back to me with that stuff within 24 hours, Fun.com will ship your item of choice out to you! If you don’t, you’ll forfeit your right to a prize, and I’ll move on to the person who sent in their correct answer next-quickest, and so on until I get a usable response.

To win the chance to choose between receiving either the collectible Hound’s Head helmet (valued at $449.99), the collectible steel Stark infantry shield (valued at $449.99), the collectible Lannister shield ($399.99), the collectible 39.5″ steel arakh (valued at $374.99), or the collectible Catspaw Valyrian steel dagger (valued at $349.99), hopeful entrants must go to our Facebook page at 4:00 p.m. CST on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 and watch Take the Black, where we will ask a trivia question during the show. Email your answers to dan.selcke@winteriscoming.net. The first person to email the correct answer to the trivia question will be eligible to choose which of the five prizes they would like to receive. Within 24 hours of WiC Live ending, we will contact the entrant who emailed their correct answer quickest by responding to the email message they sent. We will ask for that person’s full name and address and for them to choose which prize they want. Entrants must respond to our message within 24 hours. Otherwise, they will be disqualified and we’ll move on to the entrant who left their correct answer second quickest, and so on until we get a usable response.
