HBO starts casting House of the Dragon, there could be another Star Wars show on the way, and there’s lots of news coming out of Comic-Con@Home!

Hey, everybody! What happened in the worlds of sci-fi, fantasy and pop culture this week? These things happened:

Denis Villeneuve’s Dune movie doesn’t come out for months, but if the pre-release buzz is any indication, it’s gonna be one for the history books:

We’re months into quarantine and you’ve probably caught up with a lot of TV by now. Happily, there’s almost always more:

There’s a fourth Matrix movie on the way. Let’s hope the experience behind the scenes is more enjoyable than it was on the last two:

Star Trek is back with a vengeance, and it’s just getting started:

We’re getting lots of new info about HBO’s cancelled Game of Thrones prequel. We’ll probably never actually see the thing, but it’s fascinating to look back:

Meanwhile, there’s also info coming in about the Game of Thrones prequel that is going forward:

We have yet another rumor about a Star Wars show coming to Disney+, and this one would involve a Game of Thrones veteran:

There’s lots of news coming out at Comic-Con@Home. One of the most exciting is about the final stretch of Vikings:

George R.R. Martin is giving us a lot of updates about The Winds of Winter lately. I’m looking for a silver lining here:

Nathalie Emmanuel takes us behind the scenes of a charged moment on Game of Thrones:
