Is Halloween 2021 on a school day/school night?
By WiC Staff
Halloween comes around every year on October 31, a special night when children dress up as spooky ghosts and goblins and walk door to door demanding treats from their neighbors, while older folks get glammed up and down pumpkin-flavored drinks to heart’s content.
So how late can those kids stay up gobbling their Halloween candy this year? Do they have to get to bed so they can get up for school the next morning? And just how wild and crazy should the adults in the room get? Well, unfortunately both groups may need to cool it, as this year Halloween falls on a Sunday, with school and work waiting on Monday morning.

That said, all this means is that the big Halloween festivities will likely be moved to earlier in the weekend. If you’re a kid, consider going trick-or-treating on Friday or Saturday night rather than Sunday. And if you’re an adult, make sure you have your candy bowl ready, cause these little monsters can show up at any moment!
And if you’re going out to a Halloween party, it’s not for me to tell you how or how not to celebrate the holiday. Just get spooked responsibly!
