The Lord of the Rings hype train leaves the station! A Game of Thrones museum opened! More stuff happened! We round it up.

Time for WiC Weekly, where we pick through the latest goings-on in the worlds of fantasy, sci-fi, TV and movies. Let’s get to it:

First up, we look forward to the year in books:

We’re still parsing through the first season of Amazon’s The Wheel of Time show:

The Last Kingdom is coming to a close with its upcoming fifth season! But there are plans for what happens after that:

Like The Mandalorian and other expensive sci-fi/fantasy shows, HBO’s Game of Thrones spinoff House of the Dragon will make use of virtual sets.

Mark Hamill has once again turned up to play a young Luke Skywalker, but the internet is far from done asking Sebastian Stan if he’d take on the role.

Amazon has released a bevy of posters from its upcoming series The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power:

Doctor Who fans have been looking for this lost cache of classic episodes for a long time. Have they finally been found?

Maybe Daenerys paid them a visit?

Speaking of Daenerys, the Game of Thrones Studio Tour — basically a Game of Thrones museum — has officially opened in Northern Ireland:

Finally, we consider what would (or will) happen next on The Expanse should it ever return to TV to finish adapting its source material.
