The Batman is the biggest superhero hit of 2022 (for now; we’ll see how Doctor Strange 2 goes). The movie is a huge hit and has officially kickstarted a new Batman franchise. But what if you don’t wanna see it in theaters? When will the movie be out on HBO Max?

Happily, we’re ready with the answer. The Batman will be available to stream on HBO Max on April 19, 2022, 45 days after it landed in theaters.

You can subscribe to HBO Max for $14.99 per month to watch content with no ads, or $9.99 per month with ads. You could also subscribe for a whole year to save 16%. It’s up to you, but there’s a lot of good content on there.

Who plays Batman in the new movie?

A new Batman franchise means new actors in the central roles, and no role is more central than Bruce Wayne.

For The Batman, director Matt Reeves tapped Robert Pattinson, best known as Edward Cullen in the Twilight movies. Some were skeptical that the former sparkly vampire could pull off the Caped Crusader, but he’s been gettin excellent marks al around for his brooding portrayal of a man consumed by his need for vengeance.

But of course, every good Batman story needs a great villain…

Who plays the Riddler in the new Batman movie?

The Riddler isn’t always seen as one of Batman’s top-tier foes, but The Batman tries its best to make him a threat. And based on the review, it’s succeeded.

To play this new darker Riddler, Reeves picked Paul Dano, known for roles in movies like Little Miss Sunshine and There Will Be Blood. He kind of specializes in playing troubled, somewhat creepy characters, so the Riddler is a good fit.
