Video of Emilia Clarke Emerges as Production Shifts from Navarra to the Castillo de Zafra

Game of Thrones Season 6 production feels like it’s all over Spain right now, as filming wraps up in one area, gears up in a second location, and continues preparations in a third city.

First up, those preparations in Peñíscola. Apparently the Seat of House Targaryen has displayed their banners in the Plaza de Santa Maria.

With only a few days to go, the show is still looking for Meereenese extras for filming, according to Modexpor.

But where is the Mother of Dragons? Her banners may fly in Meereen, but she’s far away with her new Dothraki horde. Hola has video of Emilia Clarke from the filming we saw pictures of earlier this week.

You can check out the full video at their website here. It includes Dany seated along the bank of the river area we saw set up the other day, before being dragged off by a pair of Dothraki warriors. Clearly, in this scene, she’s still a captured prisoner. (That won’t last long, I’m sure.)

Meanwhile, across not only the Narrow Sea, but also time and space, in Campillo de Dueñas, Game of Thrones is gearing up to film the Tower of Joy flashback we’ve all been waiting for.

Eddie Eyre, who (despite the production’s insistence that he’s playing a character no one ever heard of) we all suspect is really Ser Arthur Dayne, has arrived for filming. (Madrid is the closest airport to the area.)

Interestingly, he’s also been tweeting to Isaac Hempstead Wright. Seems they became friends at some point, suggesting they’ve already been doing filming together. That jives with rumors that Lyanna’s scenes were already shot back in August in Titanic Studios.

Filming for the scene officially starts tomorrow, but it sounds like rehearsals have already begun….

But he assures us that so far, it’s been worth it.
