Find out which Dothraki khal Andrei Claude is playing, and what he’ll be up to

Obligatory SPOILER Warning:

Filming for Game of Thrones Season 6 may have finished, but some notes have been rolling in. Last month, we showed you a photo of a page from a Game of Thrones Season 6 script that actor Elie Haddad posted to his Instagram account. The photo was quickly deleted, but not before the internet immortalized it. Fans figured out that it described a conversation between several Dothraki khals about what to do with Daenerys. Thanks to a tipster who has connected some dots on our behalf, we now know the name of at least one of the Khals who will be making an appearance in Season 6.

Too late, Elie…the internet has you now.

According to his Spotlight page, Maltese actor Andrei Claude, who we reported would be playing a member of the Dothraki some time ago, will be playing the role of Khal Rhalko. His CV says he was directed by Daniel Sackheim, who helmed episodes 3 and 4 of the new season. So far as it can be made out from the leaked page of the script, it seems like he says “I’d like to know what a Khaleesi tastes like.” Rude.

There have previously been reports that Claude caught fire while filming one of his scenes. Given his interest in Daenerys, it’s possible that Khal Rhalko might make a move on her and get a face full of fire as thanks, either from Dany herself or from Drogon. We know that a Dothraki hut will burn down at some point in the season, so maybe the two events are related.

Andrei Claude has done a few minor films as well as some television. He portrayed a Roman god in Tony Robinson’s Gods and Monsters in 2012, and in 2005 was named Mr. Romance in the U.S. and appeared on the covers of a slew of romance novels.

Whether or not he was set on fire by accident or if it’s part of a scene, Claude definitely has the look of a Dothraki khal. I guess he should watch what he says around a woman who keeps a gigantic black dragon as a pet in the future.
