Could Jaime Lannister be a good guy after all? Well, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau sure is, and he wants you to sit on the Iron Throne. Below, Coster-Waldau tells you how to win a trip to visit the Game of Thrones set during filming for Season 7, all in support of RED, an organization dedicated to fighting AIDS. RED will fly you and a friend to Belfast, Northern Ireland to watch movie TV magic in action, and to meet some of the cast.
You can enter the contest here by making a donation to RED, which was created by rock singer Bono of U2. Money raised by RED’s Omaze campaign is sent to the The Global Fund to fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria. Ten dollars gets you 100 entries to win the trip, and higher donation amounts offer more entries and increasingly cool Game of Thrones-related rewards, such as Funko POP toys and signed posters.
Below are the specifics of the winning prize:
- Go behind the scenes and see how the show is made firsthand on set in Northern Ireland.
- You and a friend will get a VIP tour of the set, watch filming, meet some of the cast, visit the armory, see the costume department and sit on the Iron Throne.
- Get flown to Belfast, Northern Ireland and put up in a 4-star hotel.
Also, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation is matching all monies donated to RED up to 20 million dollars, so your donation carries double the impact in the fight against the AIDS pandemic and other diseases. As of this writing, the RED campaign contest ends in 21 days, 6 hours and 31 minutes.
Why not feel good donating for a great cause? And hey, you might end up sitting on the Iron Throne!
