While we go through the interminable wait for the Game of Thrones Season 6, let’s check in with what some of our cast and crew members are doing with their downtime. Set designer Deborah Riley is apparently heading home, David Bradley (Walder Frey) is biding his time until he’s finally allowed back on the show, and Michiel Huisman is doing what he does best.

First up, Deborah Riley, the production designer who took began working on Game of Thrones a couple of seasons back, is heading home to Australia so her homeland can celebrate her accomplishments. According to If.com.au, she will be hosted by the Australian Production Design Guild as well as AIT (the Australian Academy of Information Technology.)

The events, to be held at AIT in Sydney (February 26) and Mebourne (March 4), will celebrate Riley’s work on the series. Riley will share her design experiences and give a talk on the design behind Game of Thrones.

If you happen to be on that side of the world and want to go see her speak, tickets can be booked here. After the events have wrapped, she will be heading back to Belfast to start production on Game of Thrones Season 7.

Meanwhile, David Bradley will be guest starring on the series Beowulf, which airs on the Esquire Network. (Apparently it’s an American network owned by NBCUniversal. Who knew?) Here’s a clip:

From the episode synopsis:

Anticipating a warm welcome, our Herot heroes are shocked to be met with hostility by aging Thane Gorrik (David Bradley). Eventually however, as his icy demeanor slowly melts away, they are introduced to the tribe and Gorrik’s daughters Mara (Olivia Chenery) and Kela (Holly Earl).

Apparently, one of the daughters is even engaged to a hero from the show. Perhaps the regular cast members should come to the nuptials armed? Just as a precaution.

And finally, Michiel Huisman…..

….is talking about having a “Good Looking Man” problem in GQ.

There’s also a discussion about him stripping for Daenerys.

For more of where that came from, head over to the GQ gallery, where he poses for us all over his adopted home of New Orleans. You’re welcome, America.
