Watch three new clips from Game of Thrones Season 6

HBO showed the premiere episode of Game of Thrones Season 6 on Sunday, debuted a new trailer the next day, and now, it’s released three new clips from the new season. Our cup runneth over.

All three of the new clips look like they’re from early in the season, and none of them tell us very much. Who cares? They’re new footage from Game of Thrones.

First up, Daenerys Targaryen arrives in Vaes Dothrak.

“Hey, Great Khaleesi. Move your ass.” That guy is so gonna regret saying that later on.

We’ve seen clips of this scene before, in the first Season 6 trailer. The production is truly going all out to make Vaes Dothrak look bigger than it did back in Season 1, when the show’s budget was a fraction of what it was now.

Next up, Cersei and Jaime have a chat.

Cersei, as predicted, is taking Myrcella’s death hard. But honestly, it could have been a lot worse. I expected screaming and raving. Maybe that’s over by this point. It’s also interesting to hear the Lannister twins talk about their mother. We haven’t heard much about her on the show.

And finally, Sansa and Theon run like hell.

This one is very simple: Sansa and Theon run from Winterfell after their leap from the ramparts. I can’t tell if Theon is making for the river, perhaps so they can throw the pursuing dogs off their scent, or if they just stumble upon it. In any case, the music here is awesome.
