UPDATED: Check out 17 new photos from Game of Thrones Season 6
Nine new photos, all of which look like they’re from the Game of Thrones Season 6 premiere, have surfaced on website DNA India. Later, HBO sent us a batch. SPOILERS below.
First up, Jaime’s ship sails back into King’s Landing, bearing terrible news.
Jaime comforting Cersei. It looks like they have the same haircut this season. I wonder if that will help her forgive him for getting her only daughter killed, or…
And Cersei looking sad in the same scene:
Here’s Dany being roughly handled by the Dothraki. Oh, how the mighty have fallen.
Dany and Khal Moro. Will he be her new ally and help her cross the Narrow Sea? Looks like he’s going to have to get over the fact that she’s a woman first. Perhaps an angry dragon bent on roasting his horses and men could change his mind.
More Dothraki, more Khal Moro. I wonder if this is from the scene where Daenerys gives her yearly speech about how she’s a Targaryen and blood of the dragon and takes what’s hers and blah blah fire blah blood blah. Only…now she has Drogon to back her up, so there’s a little more force behind her threats.
And here, the Dothraki horde is on the march.
Ramsay, looking…Ramsay-ish. Does he look a little distressed here?
It seems he’s sitting beside Myranda. So I guess he can feel something after all.
Or maybe he’s nervous because he let Theon and Sansa get away. Here they are on the run.
Theon and Sansa hiding. That look of terror on Theon’s face, though…Alfie Allen is truly a fantastic actor.
Theon and Sansa taking a refreshing dip.
Tyrion and Varys walking through the streets of Meereen.
And elsewhere in Essos, a little blind girl tries to make sense of the incredibly sucky situation she’s in.
And in Dorne, Doran Martell and Ellaria Sand have a chat.
Wait…in Dorne? It looks like HBO is finally acknowledging that the place exists—it’s kept a very low profile in the pre-season run-up. This shot looks neat, although I wonder what these two could possibly have to say to each other after the Season 5 finale.
Note that these photos do not include any of Melisandre or the goings-on at the Wall. And, since we know the episode will be entitled “Red Woman,” we can guess that the Red God’s Priestess will feature heavily in it.
