Has there ever been a character like Ramsay Bolton on Game of Thrones? Let us consider the other evil people we’ve met during our time in Westeros. Although Cersei and Jaime have done terrible things, their characters have always been nuanced. There have been patriarchs who have been certainly more bad than good, from Balon Greyjoy to Tywin Lannister to Walder Frey. But even though they took advantage of their privilege in a society that already catered to them, they were also evil men whose motivations were understandable. Even Joffrey, as he died, showed us the terrified, spoiled, twisted child inside.

But Ramsay…he’s like Euron Greyjoy, but without the backstory that spells out a moment when he went from simply greedy to straight-up unhinged. Ramsay is just a sick puppy. Even moments designed to soften him sitting with the body of the woman he loved, for example—always ended in a bizarre and awful manner.
Is there anyone on this show we have wanted to see dead more? Or at least the total crap punched out of him? sdo much for one on one combat sir. SO MUCH FOR THAT IDEA.

Jon might have left Ramsay alive, you know. His sense of honor is the type that will always win out, because he can’t imagine what Ramsay really is since he hasn’t experienced it.
