Humor roundup: Game of Thrones meets It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, soccer, and more
By Dan Selcke
We interrupt your Game of Thrones Season 7 filming news to bring you some funnies. After all, even though it’s Tuesday, if you live in the United States, this might be your first day back to work after the long Labor Day weekend. So it’s kinda like Monday. Have a pick-me-up.
First, YouTuber LastRiver gives us a wonderful mashup between Game of Thrones and It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. What would happen if Robert found out about his children’s true parentage before he died? It might go a little something like this…

I definitely appreciate LastRiver inserting the faces of Osney Kettleblack and Moon Boy (for all he knows) into the scene. Also note Jaime slinking away at the end.
For reference, here’s the original scene. I love this.
And now: a strange story. Stay with me.
It seems that, about a week ago, fast food franchise Burger King approached Zenit St Petersburg, a Russian football team, with an offer: if the team changed its name to ‘Zenit Burger King,’ the chain would give it millions of dollars.
What does this have to do with Game of Thrones? We’re getting there. You see, Zenit St Petersburg has a history of raising hell on its Twitter page, poking fun at The Daily Mail, for example, or posting (and quickly deleting) a vaguely offensive tweet about a rival Irish team.
So after Burger King made its offer, Zenit responded forcefully.
We can assume that’s a ‘no.’
This next video was released a few months back, but is more than funny enough to repost. Cersei and Littlefinger host a public access show on KLTV. Watch them recap the news from the realm, sample wine, and snipe at each other.
The passive-aggressiveness is strong here.
