Kristin Chenoweth belts the Game of Thrones theme song, and other funnies

Welcome to another Game of Thrones humor roundup, where we bring you the funniest (or at least the weirdest) GoT-related ephemera from around the net. First up, Wicked star and Broadway veteran Kristin Chenoweth appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live and treated everyone to an operatic version of the Game of Thrones opening theme song. Props were involved.

Back in June, Chenoweth posted a video to Instagram of her warming up her vocal chords using the Game of Thrones theme song. Go with what works.

Next, we have an offering from the wide world of sports. Barstool Sports featured a video made by Twitter user @17productions showing the New England Patriots’ quarterback, Tom Brady, returning to the NFL after his suspension for “Deflategate.” Why does it have a Game of Thrones theme? Let’s see if we can figure it out.

Okay, so, I don’t really follow the NFL, but I suppose that this might get you helped if you’re a Patriots fan. I do, however, see the parallels. Everyone wrote Brady off, much like how Game of Thrones wrote Jon Snow off after his murder at the end of Season 5. And since Boston is located in the Northeastern part of the country, I can see Tom Brady being touted as the King in the North.

Does that work? Maybe. Moving on.

Finally, remember when Conan O’Brien took his show to the 2016 San Diego Comic-Con and did a whole skit where he pulled the “Melisandre Twist?” If not, here’s a reminder:

Hilarious, yes? Well, Andy Daly (the bellhop from the video) joined Conan O’Brien on his show recently, and the host revealed the outtakes from that video.

Daly is a hilarious guy, and those outtakes were as funny as billed, but I don’t think I can ever get the sight of Conan O’Brien walking down the hall in a naked old Melisandre suit out of my mind.
