How well do you know the music of Game of Thrones? Take HBO’s quiz!

In just under two weeks, Game of Thrones composer Ramin Djawadi will hit the road with a full or orchestra and a whole lotta pyrotechnic equipment to play music from the show across the country. It’s the Game of Thrones Live Concert Experience, and HBO getting the word out with a new quiz on its Making Game of Thrones blog.

FYI: If you want to take the quiz without any extra help, I would take it before reading the rest of the post.

We’re pretty steeped in Game of Thrones trivia around here, but I couldn’t match all of the songs to the scenes where they appeared. (Sometimes the quiz provides you with an audio snippet, sometimes not.) On the first go-round, I ended up answering eight out of the 11 questions correctly, which puts me in the 70-49% bracket, at least as of today.

The quiz also teaches you fun facts to know and tell. For example, Theon’s theme song—”What is Dead May Never Die”—contains a snippet of a Stark theme—”Goodbye Brother”—at the beginning. That’s a nice way to convey the transitory nature of Theon’s story through music. He’s good, that Ramin Djawadi.

You can take the quiz here. Let us know how you did!
