Check out MORE awesome fan-made Game of Thrones posters for season 7
What do you get when Game of Thrones fans get anxious between seasons? Idle hands = imaginatively designed posters for the seasons to come. Let’s check out some of the latest offerings:
This poster mixes the Three-Eyed Raven’s prophetic quote, a dragon and flames to striking effect. It’s interesting to see Bran associated with fire considering he is a creature of the snowy north, but if you warg into a dragon your priorities change. It’s an excellent composition.
Taking its cue from the official season 7 poster, this work mixes together ice and fire. Daenerys kind of looks trapped in the ice, doesn’t she?
This one gives us the shivers. We all know how George R.R. Martin likes to have the good guys lose and lose and lose, so this cold, frightening image isn’t that farfetched. There’s a chance the Night King will be standing in front of the Iron Throne in the ruins of King’s Landing before our story is over. Plus, are those wight dragons flying behind him?
Another winter-is-here bone-chiller. We’ve never seen a female White Walker, but Cersei is pulling off this Night Queen look. No undead army rags for her — Cersei may be undead, but she’ll at least look good doing it.
This offering focuses on the alliance between the Tyrells and Dorne. Yes, the Dornish storyline has been less than successful, but perhaps the cunning Lady Olenna Tyrell can turn it around. Both she and Ellaria Sand are driven more by revenge than loyalty, and that’s a dangerous mix.
Looks like we’ve got a series of cool images from this fan. This split-screen poster pits two old rivals against each other: Varys and Littlefinger. Will these two master players lock horns again? With the stakes so much higher, that would be a thrill to watch.
Ah, the ever-mysterious Melisandre, writhed in fire. Yes, she’s disgraced and exiled, but the Red Priestess doesn’t look finished here.
Lastly, Gendry gets his own poster. Striding out of the darkness, he looks almost like he’s returning from the grave. As someone who technically has a decent claim to the Iron Throne, Gendry is a wildest card just waiting to be played. D&D, please don’t leave him paddling around in oblivion for eternity!
Keep on making these amazing posters, everybody!
