Miltos Yerolemou (Syrio Forel) will appear at Con of Thrones
By Dan Selcke
Con of Thrones, the largest ever convention dedicated exclusively to Game of Thrones and A Song of Ice and Fire, will kick off on June 30 at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center in Nashville, Tennessee, just a few weeks before the premiere of Game of Thrones season 7. The convention has already announced a robust lineup of guests, including:
- Iwan Rheon (Ramsay Bolton)
- Kerry Ingram (Shireen Baratheon)
- Kate Dickie (Lysa Arryn)
- Rupert Vansittart (Yohn Royce)
- Sam Coleman (Young Hodor)
- Aimee Richardson (Myrcella Baratheon)
- David Peterson (the conlanger behind the Dothraki and Valyrian languages)
- Tommy Dunne (the show’s Weapons Master)
Now, there’s a new guest on the docket: English actor Miltos Yerolemou. Game of Thrones will know him as Syrio Forel, the first of several men who instructed Arya Stark in the art of violence. Thank you, Mr. Forel.
Other credits include The Danish Girl, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and the recently filmed Murder on the Orient Express, due out this November. Yerolemou has done a whole mess of stage work, too, but for the purposes of Con of Thrones, I hope he brings his practice sword.
